Facilities & Hire
The Methodist Centre is a bright, welcoming and recently refurbished venue at the heart of the Prescot and Whiston community.
As well as being home to our church worship, the building offers a versatile and well-equipped Worship Area and a range of rooms used by both church groups and local organisations. Whether you're hosting a community class, meeting, support group or event, our space provides a warm, accessible and flexible setting for all.

Main Hall - front
The main hall is a large area comprising of the Worship area which is usually set out for worship and the empty rear of the hall which can be separated by the sliding screen. The worship area will seat approx 90 people. This is available for hire only if the whole hall is required. Hirers using this area must return the seats to the original plan.
Whole hall hire £36 per hour. Total seating 180-200
Main Hall -rear
This section of the Hall is similar in size to the Worship half, but this side has direct access to the kitchen through the serving hatch should you require catering facilities along with your room hire. (extra charge). Hire of this area is with screen closed. There are plenty of tables (large and small) and chairs available. Hirers using the furniture please return to original places.
Half Hall hire £18 per hour. Seats approx 90
Kitchen
The kitchen is available for hire to prepare your own food only. Good standards of hygeine essential. Cost £15 per hour
School Room
The schoolroom is a comfortable carpeted room accessed by the stairs in the foyer. there is a WiFi connection and screen.

Gallery Room
Fairly large high ceiling upstairs room, was formerly the old church choir stalls. Great acoustics, more suitable for smaller groups. The room has two (two step) raised areas - edged in white
Size: Max 25/30 people Hire £18 per hour
Wesley Room
Small cozy downstairs room, great for smaller more social groups looking for somewhere comfortable to gather.
Size: Max 15 people Hire £15 per hour
