Knit & Natter

The Knit and Natter Group meets each Tuesday in the Centre from 9.30 to 11.30am. Anyone is welcome even if it's just for the 'Natter'.

We continue to make blankets and children's tops and distribute them to various countries including Ukraine and Sierra Leone as well as organizations closer to home. The donations to Ukraine incur postage which we cover by the weekly small collections at Knit and Natter.

Our nattering covers many topics and we enjoy the talking and laughter while we 'put the world to rights.

Walking Group

The group began in 2003 and we continue our programme of mothly walks, social events and special visits. Our membership comes from the Church and the wider community and we are very welcoming. Members are regularly informed of our programme by e-mail or the postal service.

Friendship Group

The Friendship Group was set up to support those who may feel lonely, but it’s open to anyone who would simply enjoy some company and conversation. It offers a warm, welcoming space where people can connect, chat, and build lasting friendships whilst sharing food and entertainment.

Toddler's Group

A warm welcome awaits you at our Toddler Group — a friendly and safe space for children to play and socialise, and for parents, grandparents and carers to connect and build friendships.

We meet every Friday during term time from 9:30 to 11:00am, and typically welcome around 20–25 children each week. Sessions include craft activities, snack time (fruit, drinks and biscuits), stories, singing, and lots of time for free play.

The group is supported by a rota of church members and parent volunteers. There’s a small charge of £1.50 per family, and places should be booked in advance by email.
